## How Pricing Works

Compelling uses a single credit system across all plans. You pay for what you actually get: researched insights, contacts, messages, company searches, and mobile numbers.

- Credits are only charged when information is found. A search or enrichment that returns no result costs nothing.
- Every insight (one datapoint for one company or contact) costs 1 credit.
- Each paid plan includes an annual credit allowance at its base price. You can scale the credit volume up within any plan (see Credit Volume Pricing below).
- Billing is monthly or annual. Annual billing saves 20%.
- All paid plans start with a 7-day free trial.
