Seven Months, Six Humans, One Mission: A Mid-Year State of Compelling

The startup calendar doesn’t respect the Gregorian one—every quarter feels like a year, every feature sprint like a decade. Since January we’ve compressed what should have been an 18-month roadmap into seven borderline-chaotic, wonderfully productive months. Here’s the unfiltered recap, plus a preview of what’s about to land on your desktop in July.

1. Vision, Vetted

20+ design-partner customers.
Dozens of hard questions. One consistent answer: automated, explainable sales intelligence beats gut-feel prospecting every time.

We spent the winter running Compelling against real pipelines—late-stage deals, green-field ABM, renewal forecasts. The verdict was unanimous: reps trust data when they can interrogate its sources, and ops teams love any tool that deletes workflow steps instead of adding them. Those learnings became the spine of our next release.

2. From Duo to Half-Dozen

We scaled the headcount from 2 → 6 and somehow kept stand-ups under 15 minutes. The newest face you’ll see in Slack is Niklas, our resident systems whisperer. He’s the sort who reads RFCs for relaxation and has already murdered three latency gremlins that were hiding in plain sight.

(P.S. we’re hiring one more backend engineer; if 20 ms p99 makes your palms itch, DM us.)

3. Building the Next-Gen Platform

The validated vision quickly turned into scope creep with purpose:

  • Autonomous research agents v2.0—20 % faster, 85 % fewer hallucinations

  • Transparent lead ranking—adjust relevance sliders, watch scores recalculate in real time

  • Self-cleaning CRM integrations—records enrich, merge, and convert without human babysitting

All wrapped in a new UI that puts insights exactly where sellers already live, not buried in yet another dashboard.

4. A Fresh Coat of Identity

Yes, we have a new logo. No, LinkedIn’s image crop won’t let us show it properly (that’s intentional suspense, thank you very much). The redesign pairs with updated typography, color, and motion guidelines—subtle, confident, unmistakably Compelling.

Two Milestones on Deck

  1. July Product Launch – Feature freeze is days away; the only debate left is which Easter eggs make the cut.

  2. Public Beta Expansion – More seats opening for teams who want Compelling embedded in their revenue stack before Q4.

Your Turn: What Must We Ship?

We think we’ve nailed the core pain points—speed, transparency, workflow fit—but we’re not naïve enough to assume the roadmap is flawless. Which feature would make Compelling indispensable for you? Hit reply, flame us in the comments, or ping your CSM. The spiciest requests tend to end up on the sprint board.
